New zone in Berenur - Arthenn region starting to take shape. For now only the sketch, to start the cities... Could someone help me with which names give influence to this region?

From what I can tell from the PDF I would use Scandinavia and Celtic names. It also seems to allude that you could use what ever naming convention you want based on mixing of cultures and the old cultures disappearing and new languages appearing in their place.
I like the map but for me the text is very hard to read even when I zoom in.
Much better
I love the eagles in the corner of the map.
I wanted some more in other positions. birds in flocks variations would also be interesting
mix of Annual Isometric Town and Sue Richards Spectrum Overland
I like it. Very inventive :)
One suggestion, @Ricko Hasche, in the Uninteresting Wastes map (very uninteresting name LOL) I would use text along a curve for the name, I am sure it would look better.
@Quenten when I came up with the name, I conceived it from a "coastcentric"(from east) or "dalecentric" point of view. Duergars, dragon, gnolls, bullywugs, dry earth... no good for farmers 🤣
Some compass roses would be nice also on city/street maps, such as Arthenn and the docks. Looking at the bridge and the parent map, it is clear that north is to the right on the docks map, but this can't be seen from the map itself. Preferable, any map that doesn't ashere to the modern convention of north up should have a compass rose to indicate this (Personally, I like to see them on most map anyways).
Wouldn't mind seeing some scale bars as well, makes it easier to use the maps.
I understand your point of view.
I will accommodate the maps before the final upload.
Historically, in my stories I'm usually more busy with the plot than calculating coins, potion doses, number of arrows, squares of movement or exactly 24.6 km between one village and another like most gaming tables.
This carelessness is perhaps the reason I so often forget these little details.
Thanks a lot for the correction.
Yea, I know how it is. I often skip them on my own personal maps as well, because I already know how the map is going to be used. But it is helpful when other will be using the maps.
all checked and corrected, today i finish last one from arthenn region and upload all :)
