Following measures explained by Mr. @Monsen, i humble present a map requested by a friend as his christmas gift - the house of a former adventurer, now a old man living your last days fishing in front of a river and growing his vegetable garden.
size A3 80 x 55 feet.
thank you

Please a question: on schley dungeon and city the grid (not using any efect) is always very thin and almost invisible line - i use in this house, for example, black color.
How i can make the grid more strong?
Thank you
People often apply a glow effect to the GRID sheet and edit the effect until it looks right.
Nice map, by the way! :)
inside or outside glow?
Outside. Inside only affects the colour inside the very thin line.
Also, you might want to add a bit of transparency.
I often have a white grid with a dark glow and a bit of transparency so that it isn't too overpowering. Or I have a black grid with a pale glow.
suspected, i dont felt any diference... inlusing stacking some inside glow .
Here is a dungeon map I made recently. I have used an Outer Glow instead of an ordinary glow in this case, and then a Blend Mode instead of a straightforward transparency. The Outer Glow is very similar to the Glow, but has slightly different properties that allow it to be used in conjunction with the Blend Mode. The Blend mode works in a similar way to the blend mode setting on a layer in PS or any other bitmap app.
You could copy these effects across from my map to your own and play with them if they aren't quite right.
I've also posted a rendered export of this map, in case you had any red Xs. The style is Dungeon's of Schley - SS4
- A retired adventurer would probably insist on a back door. It might or might not be hidden.
- A night table to hold a candle (and maybe a chamber pot) should be right beside the bed.
- I noticed a stove beside the main fireplace. Shouldn't it have a smokestack?
Finally I noticed two pillows on the bed. Was he married or is he expecting company? He uses two because he is somewhat huncbbacked from his years in the saddle and from the stress of carrying heavy loads.
Nice job.
