CC3+ error reading general settings file

When I start CC3+ is gives me three warnings about reading general settings files. I looked in the filepath and none of the files are there. They are CC2PER-General.opt, CC2PER-Houses.opt, and CC2PER-Colors.opt.

Thank you that fixed the issue, now i'm having a different problem.

I'm using SS5. I used the random street, SS5C Tiled Roofs and those two orange houses appeared without roofs on them. Also the wall doesn't seem right either, is that how it's supposed to look?

There are mixed elements of CD3 in there as well - the background fill and the wall... possibly also the House settings are from CD3 Bitmap A. This points to the fact that you are using the CD3 Bitmap A template, which has different wall and House drawing tools to SS5.

I believe the map was originally bitmap B but i wanted to start converting it to SS5. is there a way to fix this?

Oh, is it Bitmap B? Sorry. I thought it was A.

First you need to make sure that all the fills are imported. You can do that by creating a new SS5 map and saving it somewhere, then inserting it to your existing map using Draw->Insert File, but you don't have to actually paste it. Just starting the insert process is enough to import all the fills.

That may actually remedy the house problem in itself, but if it doesn't I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Remy (Monsen) would know, but I suspect he's gone to bed by now.

To get the right drawing tools simply click the SS5 icon in the bar across the top of the window. That should also give you all the right symbol catalogues as well.

Looks like that will work thanks Sue. It's a little sluggish because of everything that it's drawing but it's better than redoing my entire map lol.
