Erase Tool

Hey All,

I've been using CC3+ for a few months now and I'm getting the hang of things. However, I think I may have accidently selected some option that prevents me from selecting individual items for deletion. When I select the Erase Tool, the cursor message asks me to select a layer and I can only delete the entire layer rather than one thing. For Example, if I want to delete a door on a battle map, I cannot select it and have to delete all the doors on the map. I can't selecting something and choose the Do It option.

Any ideas how I can solve this?

Go to Tools menu --> Options --> Select Method --> Dialog or Popup. This will set the selection method back to the standard one.
