Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well. You've been producing some superb maps, and I've been lurking around watching what's going on - as usual.
First and foremost, I'm a DM. I make a map, and I tell a story. The last map I posted was my Angaara map. I ran the campaign for my players for a year, then I started a wild west campaign and have been running that for 7 months. Now I’m working on my mythological Greek campaign (called "Legend") in anticipation of completing the wild west campaign.
If a story takes a year or more to tell, I don't make any other maps. Once I do make a new map, I post it here.
Normally I work at the UKGE as a DM, but this year I went as a guest, along with a whole bunch of my friends, to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We had an amazing time together, but the pinnacle of my experience was climbing the Mount Olympus of the trade hall to meet Zeus - Ralf himself!
It was wonderful to meet an idol of mine. I've followed, and hungered for, Campaign Cartographer since my teens. I love making my maps with the software, and to meet Ralf was a dream. I have so much respect and admiration for Ralf, I probably came across as somewhat excitedly nervous and weird. You're lucky I didn't pester you for your autograph, Ralf! And I hope I held myself together when we met.
Anyway, I was incredibly excited to share some of my maps with Ralf while I was at his stall, and very much enjoyed talking to Ralf’s friend, Andy. It was an absolute pleasure to meet both of them. Ralf asked me to post a couple of my maps when I got back - so that's what I'm here to do. He did say that he was going on holiday following the Expo, so that's why I've left my post for a couple more weeks. So, I really hope you had a fantastic holiday, Ralf, and I'd like to share with you all what I've been doing over the past 1 1/2 years or so...
The first map that Ralf asked me to post is the full campaign map for my alternative-history Wild West campaign. It's a very large map in reality, so I’ve posted some smaller crops so you can see better. I’ve lost some of the detail, but hope you enjoy nevertheless.

Those are some lovely maps
Thanks for the comments. Glad you like the maps.
@Ralf I'm looking at the possibility of attending Dragonmeet in December, so might see you there - no promises though. It's a long way and I have to convince the Mrs. to come with me and make it a weekend break!
@Sue Thanks, Sue. Not as busy drawing maps as I'd like. I did the Wild Frontier maps almost a year ago, and I haven't really done anything since then up until starting on the Greece map. The busyness comes from running the RPG campaign...
@Lorelei I didn't feel that drawing a map of Greece and the Aegean was any kind of challenge, so decided to make the challenge designing the symbol set instead. Glad you like them. I'll post the whole thing once it's finished.

Medio, Quenten - Thank you for your kind words. I'm happy you like these maps!
@Quenten I love Crete too. Cumulatively, I've spent many months exploring the island on a quad bike with the Mrs. on the back. We fell in love with her the first time we visited. It's an incredible island with many beautiful places to see and visit, great food, and wonderful people. We've never explored the south coast though, giving us plenty of reason to return some day. Also, that's a great suggestion about an Atlas map. Once I've finished my Mythological Greece map (almost done) I probably won't make another map for the campaign setting for a while, so making one for the community atlas would be an excellent diversion!
Finally, Thanks Ralf for including my map in the Maps of the Month. It was a lovely surprise when I got the newsletter, and I'm glad you liked it so much.
All the best

Here's a map (along with a couple of detail crops) I completely forgot I'd made. It was intended for a Pirates vs Cthulhu campaign I plan(ned) to run at some point, but other interests got in the way. It was Lorelei's amazing 3-D ship map that reminded me I'd even made it so - thanks Lorelei!!
Hope you enjoy

First night down there, we went through plankton that glowed in the dark when disturbed. None yelled for the Crabby Patty forumla though.
The snow on the tops of the mountains is also a great effect.
The closest I've been to the Caribbean is Mexico, Jim, but I'd love to visit some of the islands. I've seen glowing plankton though, at Ras Abu Galloum in Egypt. Beautiful and otherworldly!
I put the silhouettes in to give my player's a visual clue to feel of the terrain in that area, Ken. I can't take any credit for them though, as I just traced pictures and photos I found online to create a polygon that I could import as a symbol.
