I can appreciate this map for the labor you put into it. I used this style once and didn't like the fact that I had to hand draw all the mountain textures. Even with a electric pen and pad putting in each line was a choir. I ended up porting the map over to Gimp and drawing the lines there. This map looks good!
Thanks, Kevin. It is indeed fiddly. I have a question for you all - which of the 2 styles of hill do you prefer - the longer ones (pic 1) of the smaller ones (pic 2).
It's generally better to export with antialiasing on than to try manual blurs because the export filtering is higher quality than the blur at this point.
Well, 2 and a half years later, I have finished this map. I will hand it into Remy Monsen when I have a few more maps finished (there are about 3-4 almost done).
Might be worth changing what I'm assuming is the angular border line to another colour. Presently, it looks a bit as if it's some kind of linear extension of the forests, maybe as a very broad, unpaved roadway. The way it stood out in the previous iteration seemed clearer to me it was something different. Possibly worth adding to the key list of features too, for further clarity?

My only suggestion would be to try blurring some of the sheets to get an antialias around some of the more pixelated features.

More labels added. Ready to go.

This map, I can clearly see the differentiations between areas.
The border is a frame which was cut off by the map border - easy to fix. Thanks for pointing it out, Wyvern.
Here is the corrected version
Now in the atlas. Thanks for contributing.
