Copy in Drawing Issue

I updated my CC3+ to the newest version last night. Now, while working on a map I began before updating, the "Copy in Drawing" tool is acting weird. Before the update, I could copy as many times as I liked, and the map did not redraw until I manually did so. Now, after each "copy", I get the "I am thinking" circle! As I sometimes make a like of copies of a particular symbol on one of my maps, read in the hundreds or even thousands, you can imagine how long it would take to complete a map!
Any ideas out there? Is this happening becasue of the update, as I suspect? Or something else. If it is the update, I may have to reload the program from the begining and forget the latest update.
Thank you in advance.

What is it that you are copying so many times, rexalan60? I'm trying to imagine when I would need to repeatedly copy things, but with symbols you just keep pasting, which is different.
The only time I copy things is when I'm actually drawing new stuff, like steps for a staircase and so on, but even then there are only as many copies as there are steps...
I am wondering if the update changed my settings, as I had not used the "rdoff" command prior to this.
That happened to me when placing symbols in a city drawing on Monday; however, I stopped placing them and used COP to just copy them around the map and that worked faster and better.
