2008 Annual and its Laboratory

there was a file in the laboratory that was made available to us that purchased it. It was useful or suppose to be for creating interactive atlas's. I know I downloaded it or saved it but can't seem to find it. can anyone help me

That was a beta dll, that has since been incorporated into the normal CC3 release. It contained the LOADREL command that allows to load linked maps in a folder "above" the current one. See the sidebar on page 3 of the issue's mapping guide. You can now simply use LOADREL without that laboratory download.

Uhm, assuming Ralf, he purchased the CC3. What if he didn't. Can he sill be helped?

Hmmm... well the whole Cartographer's Annual - which he purchased - is rather useless without CC3. So I'll just assume he has it.

I've got CC3 but received my copy long before this file was out, was it in a patch then for those of us that got our copies before this. And what Issue of What guide are you referring to, there are alot of them.

Yes. It is included with the latest patch.
The issue he refers to is the interactive atlas one (issue 17 - may 2008)
