Increase the line thickness on placement guides

So I've got SNAP set to on and I honestly cannot see the placement guides about half the time. I have a high-density display and I can best see the guides when they XOR the grid (if it is visible).
Is it possible to increase the thickness of the placement guides (the line that runs top to bottom that intersects with a line running left to right that is visible when placing elements on the map)?
Coincidentally - how about thinking about increasing the default thickness of the guide when using snap? I mean, seriously, it is locked in precise increments - being invisible while doing this is frustrating at best and pointless overall.
Thanks!

Towards the bottom left is the spacing for the grid.
After that, you can select Apply, which adds the grid. Or select pointa for lower left and upper right.
Square grid may go over the edge of the map, but the Screen layer should cover it.
I don't know of any way to do what you asked about otherwise.
Thanks Remy
