Are there definitions for Climate types in Fractal Terrains 3?
Hello all,
I am new to using Profantasy software but i have been having great fun with it so far.
My question is, is there a key or guide anywhere which can tell me what Fractal Terrains uses for parameters in determining what the climate is?
To say it another way is there something that will tell me say, the rainfall/temperature band in which fractal terrains considers temperate forest?
Thank you for any help you can give!

Somewhere on this forum a very... very... very long time ago, I seem to remember that JSlayton gave quite a lot of information about the climates in FT3. I will see if I can find the thread for you.
I might be some time!
Although I can't tell you the figures you are asking for, which will be unique to FT3, you might find this reading of interest?

I will try to find my earlier discussion on it's climate model. It might be at the cartographer's guild website.
I think that page is a good enough start for me if FT3 does roughly follow it. I'll poke around the shader window too
