Move Symbol Issue

Hi Team,

Ok so this is bugging me.

When I used to MOVE symbols I could see the shape of the symbol as I moved it allowing me to line it up perfectly.

Now when i MOVE a symbol I just get a line indicating where I am moving the symbol to.

It's driving me nuts.

Is this a thing I can fix?

Hit Tab while you are moving a symbol (Or tools -> Options -> Editing Options -> Uncheck skip entities with long redraw times)

Is this due to the old 'even number of sides, the symbol disappears while drag is being used' or is this something else ?

No, this is a separate setting that is intended to speed up drawing. For raster symbols, it doesn't make sense, but for very complicated vector symbols it is nice. It is not related to the 'odd/even outlines' thing. (Well, not directly related anyway, but the situations you would encounter both these issues are similar)
