first world map, thoughts?

I thought I would post my first world map I did. I only showed the raised areas and the seas, since the scale is huge, I think each grid box is 1000 sq miles.

One point, the same thing that Ralf pointed out to me in my world map -- where is the southern ice cap?

Did your draw the world by hand first then scanned it in and inserted a bitmap to trace?

This is only the top half of the world

the southern Ice cap is on the bottom half of the map which I have yet to draw.

I drew the map only in CC3, although portions of it have been drawn by hand for several years, but they were small.
