Trimming Rivers

I need to trim a river that extends beyond a coastline. Anyway to do this without having to redraw it?

Assuming the river is drawn using a line, use the Trim command (left toolbars). You can optionally use Trim to Intersection instead.

Will that work if you use the river drawing tool?

Normally yes, as most of the river drawing tools draw rivers as lines. (Well, a path actually, to be a bit more precise)
