Copy broken?
I'm having trouble with copy-paste. Yes, that simple feature that you normally use by just pressing control-c and control-v.
I select paste and I get an item that was previously in my clipboard. (some text, in this case.)
Okay...fine.
Now, I'm looking at one layer (everything else is hidden). I right-click on the copy button, and select copy to clipboard. I draw a box around what I want to copy, in my case, a coastline. It (what I've selected within the box) disappears from the screen, leaving items I haven't selected shown, so I'm fairly sure I'm successfully selecting the items. I right-click and select Do It, to copy the selection into the clipboard.
I then right-click on the copy button, and select paste. I get my text. (ie, I don't get what I just attempted to copy)
Various combinations don't seem to have any effect.
Has anyone else had this kind of issue? Am I doing something wrong? Vista causing issues? Other ideas?
