Came here after the Master Mapper post -- how was this perspective style achieved (if it can be described succinctly)? Is it an annual style or did you basically illustrate it using CC3+ (as in no symbols used)? As a novice, I'm completely scratching my head. Apologies if it's detailed elsewhere.

Honestly, i just worked off that picture up top as a guide and searched throught ALL the annuals and for the right combination of symbols to get this look. It's several styles mashed together (which is something i've always done in my style mapping). I'm TERRIBLE at instruction, as i tend to get ahead of myself....but i will say to achieve a look like this, start at the back of the map and work your way forward down the page if that helps.
