How to make SS4 act like DD3? (adding rooms & corridors)

I have been working through the Tome of Ultimate Mapping and I have a question. When I am using DD3, I choose corridor or room tool and it draws the item with all sides, but when I use the SS4 addon, I am having to draw each side of room or corridor individually. Did I miss a setting? Thanks for any help.

SS4 was made in such a way so users without DD3 could also utilize it, but the best way to use it is with the DD3 commands. As long as you have DD3, you should just be able to press the DD3 button in the toolbar, as this will load the DD3 toolbars instead of those supplied with SS4 and give you access to the DD3 tools.
