I have seen these with a other few maps i did too.
This is post rendering both in either jpg or png format.
I included a winsnip version for comparison, but as you can see the weird "non-organic" shadows show up.

Anyways i winsniped the render version for reference... saved as a jpg and that uploads fine.
In this case it is the glow on the floor causing the problem. Try removing the effect, and instead add a partially transparent polygon on top of it top darken it (use one of the solid xx fills)
I guess from now on i wont roll with default effects and instead build from scratch.
