(SOLVED) Removing the map outline

Every new map I am starting with CC3+ has a white outline around it (see attached). How do I remove the outline?

I think most times this is the map border. Try hide that layer.

When you export as a graphic, like png or bmp, click on the options button lower right of the save as dialog.

Make sure 'crop image to aspect ratio' and 'restrict image to map border' are checked. Some templates in CC3+ require one of those to be unchecked.

I just checked the white border is on the Screen layer. Main purpose of this is to block overflow symbols from being shown outside of the main map.
There is a second border also which is on the text layer. You could select each of these and delete them. Or just hide the layer.

I fixed the problem by checking the 'restrict image to map border' in the Options window when saving the image.
