Problems with copying and other edit commands
I have had ad CC3+ and DD3 less than a day, so I might just not know what I did to mess it up, but I am having an issue I cannot seem to fix.
When I select edit commands in DD3, I can't get it to let me select objects and get to the "do it" command. Instead it says "select layer *right click for the layer dialog or type a layer name" in a little box on my cursor. If I right click and select the layer I am working with, it says "Select origin for clipboard (0,0). The origin is the insertion point when you paste"
No matter what I do from there, either it appears as if nothing happens at all, or it selects whole swaths of the page. I just want to copy, erase, and otherwise edit individual elements! Help!?

It sounds like your selection method was accidentally changed. You can find the quick and easy solution in this post.
