Can't install FT3

I am having trouble installing FT3 on my computer.

Just comes to the License Agreement screen and once I click I accept the license and Next the InstallAware Wizard just freezes instantly and nothing happens. I run Win 10 and have tried to install as an Administratior too but neither seem to work. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Have you temporarily turned off your antivirus software?

I only have Windows Defender. Disabled it. But it made no difference. Still freezes up.

I don't remember how long it took to get going when I installed it several months ago now, but if you've given it a reasonable time just to sort itself out before getting on with the process, how about downloading a fresh copy of the installer from your account page and trying again with that?

I haven't seen this with the FT3 installer, but I know that the CC3+ installer have hung at that step for some people because the serial number in the registry was corrupt. If you are comfortable editing the registry, you could try to delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Slayton Software key from your registry, and try installing again.

Rarely I have had Internet slowness affect software registration, but this doesn't sound like that.

I was gonna try this but couldn't locate it. Thought it was placed under Pro Fantasy and not Slayton but it might help.

Edit: Yes. That was the problem. Once I removed the Key it did let me reinstall the program again. Thanks.
