Hi everyone,
Today I have been working on a new map from the old D&D module The Keep on the Borderlands. In the module is a set of caves filled with many different kinds of creatures from orcs to kobolds to Hobgoblins to Goblins to a Bugbear, and an Ogre. There is even an evil temple to Chaos that is located somewhere in the caves.
So today I wanted to try my luck at re-creating these caves from the top down and from right to left. So I started with caves B and C because they are the first ones that follow those parameters on the map.
I did not furnish the rooms because I just wanted the shape. I also did not number them because I just don't want to yet. Maybe when I get them all done. Anyway, here are caves B and C of the Caves of Chaos.
Enjoy

Is the narrow section on the left supposed to be higher than the B & C section, though? It looks like it's on the same level, and the stairs/ramp give it an Escher-esque feel.

Believe it or not that is an illusion. The map was made with me connecting all of the floor parts first. While it is supposed to be higher than section B, it is supposed to be the same level as section C. the reason it looks higher than c is because of the taller wall I added to the room that connects the left part to c, while the wall behind it is shorter. If you follow the actual floors you will see that they line up perfectly.
I wonder if I should go back and put a small wall there so the illusion goes away?
I don't know why but sometimes it shows the picture on this website but this time it decided not to...hmm.:(
Are caves B and C linked with cave A?
@ Loopysue: Thanks, No, they're not. In the original module cave B and C are linked by a secret door but cave A is not linked to any other cave. But when you look at it, the separate caves are placed in their exact positions on the map from the module. That is why cave A isn't exactly lining up.
