FT: Selection with multiple criteria

In FT3, I have a huge continent surrounded by sea, and a large sea in the middle of the content. I want to be able to select that sea, without selecting the sea outside the continent. I have tried creating a freehand and other manual selections, but cant get it right. If I select altitude, I get the outer sea too.

Is there a way to make a selection with two criteria, like make a manual selection, and then restrict that selection to "only the area below 0 sea level"?
Note that the inner sea has islands in it which i do not want to be part of the selection, which is why I'm looking at altitude based selection.

I also want to be able to select the entire world outside the continent, without selecting the inland sea, but I assume whatever method works for above will work for this too.

I am one who just uses FT to create a world. Then I export to CC3 as fcw and as png. I then import the png into a template and draw from that, using the png as an example. Leaving out those parts I don't like or have a use for.

I have also imported a continent, into a smaller template, and made a small island.

The first one is the export from FT3 and the second is the island I made with it.

I just ignored the bit in the original, to the lower right. The contours are made with Natalya's bitmap fills I mention elsewhere in the forums.
  • Thanks, but I dont plan to use CC just yet. (I will, later.) I'm planning to use the Terrraformer addon for FT to make some nice visual maps in FT, so I plan on working in FT for a while first. If I can solve some selection issues first.
