Possible to change green land mass border in Mike Schley Overland style maps?

I love the Mike Schley Overland style for my maps, but wonder if it's possible to reduce the width/change the color of the default thick green coastline border when I'm drawing land masses?

That could be done by modifying the default tool for the particular object you are trying to change. In this case the default land mass.

The best way is to go into the advanced properties of the tool, and create a new tool based on the default settings. You could call it Landmass, Narrow Coast. Then go to the outline button and change the settings there until you find one that fits the effect you are trying to achieve. Both color and line width are defined there. Then save the settings. Try it out until you find the correct settings for your preference.

I always do my own instead of the default.
Click on properties and choose your landmass to see what sheet it is on.
Go to that sheet and you should be able to modify it there.
