CD3 and DD3 Very slow download speed

Hi, so i just bought CD 3 and DD 3 and the download speed are horrible (50ko/s). I have Optical fiber 500mb/s internet connection
Yet the CC3+ installer download at nominal speed ?

Is there anything to do ?

never mind, wrong conclusion on my part.

It go a bit better shortly after this post, now downloading at 300ish Ko/s wich is better but far from the 40Mo/s I have normally.

After some minutes at veeeeeery slow download (5k-30k), the download stops. ((

Its been a while since I downloaded my software, but when I do download large files I use Internet Download Manager, which makes everything about ten times faster. It downloads on several threads at the same time. I think in the old days the threads used to be called mirrors.

The IDM software is a bit expensive for what it is, but there is a free 30 day trial you could use as a window of time to get everything you want while it lasts. Once you've got the basic CC3 software and its add-ons sorted out, and broadband allowance permitting, you might consider using it to get the third party add-ons, like the CSUAC/Dundjinni Collections.

Download speed is due to local and 'between you and the remote server' speeds.

Sometimes evenings are very bad to try and download something, sometimes mornings are. Around major holidays are also a bad time to download anything.

Holidays like Jim said are bad. Also, anytime they have a patch or a new download of a product is out is bad too. The 1st of the month is when the Annual for that month gets released and some times that is abad day to download stuff depending on the time When CA3 got released I had to wait 3 days to download it as the site was getting heavy traffic.

Some things like the CSUAC are going to take you a couple of days to get as the files are big. Same issues also occur with this too if you have a lot of mappers is trying to get the same file. In one case I had to wait 3 days to download something because of this.

Also, try downloading using a different browser.

Just out of interest, and to help others that might have the same problem in the future - did you just wait for a quiet spell, or did you use some kind of download manager software?

No, no download manager.
I closed all the chrome sessions and waited three hours.
No internet navigation during the download.
In 2016 it sounds very strange but this was my solution.
