I need to reverse what you are saying. I have a hand drawn continent. what I havn't figured out is how go into more detail as kingdoms or persay countries

and my players will need more than a overall continent to look at.

I did though. How to start at a continent level and make smaller maps.

Details on a continent map will not work. Making a smaller map of a smaller region does what you want.
