Adding Title/Byline at Map Start + SS4 Corridors/Rooms?

I just noticed these quirks over the weekend while working on some stuff on a time crush, so I didn't have time to fully investigate them, but one thing I found with my CC3+/DD3 install was that when trying to create a new dungeon map, especially one using my own dims, everything would work out fine, unless I tried to add a Title or Byline in one of the corners via the wizard (I admit not trying the compass rose/scale just yet). When I did that, it would take me through the remainder of the wizard (up to the asking if there were multiple levels) and would hang. When I hit 'Finish', it would bring me back to the multiple levels dialogue, and nothing would let me move past that.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so, what is the fix for it?

Also, are the standard corridor and room dialogues for DD3(+)-- the ones that allow you to set a floor & wall style, and wall and corridor width, and then use the standard three-click method for creating rooms (and two click + B/C for break/connect) nixed when using the Schley map styles that came with SS4? It seems to want to make me draw a complete polygon box, and gives me no options for breaking walls to connect corridors unless I use the door/cutter symbols. But I've had a few recent bugs in the system, and I want to make sure that I'm not seeing a foul-up where there's not one.

Thanks for the feedback!

Which template are you using when you ge the hang with the map title? I just tried this with the DD3 Dungeon and SS4 Schley templates and it worked fine. Have you typed in an actual Map Title in the wizard or only selected the cartouche to add?

The SS4 style button references the drawing tools for rooms instead of the dialog option. If you click the DD3 icon on the file toolbar, you'll switch to the DD3 menu. Using the Room button will then load the room dialog. CLicking the SS4 button will go back to the drawing tools.
  • I used the Mike Schley (standard, as opposed to metric) the first time around, and then the DD3 (standard). I'm afraid I don't know the specs on the DD3 one, as far as size dims. But in each case, I just tried to type in a name and a copyright, and put the name in the upper left and copyright in lower right.

Thank you very much for the note on the SS4 style and switching off to the DD3 menu! I'll try doing that next time around, as I really have found that the dialog for rooms and corridors has made dungeon generation easier for me.
