Missing buttons in Win 8.1

I installed CC3 & SS3 yesterday and noticed that I'm missing buttons on the Left Toolbar (see top image below).

It's not anywhere else, by the way, and when I repaired the install this morning I caught the error message I missed yesterday (see bottom image below). I've not got this problem with SS4. I can access the bits that are missing via the menu bar but it's quicker to R-click.

I'm extremely reluctant to uninstall the software as experience has taught me that I can't reinstall it if I do.

Help or advice would be welcomed.

PS When's SS3 for CC3+ due out?

Just a guess, but are you installing as an Administrator? "Path/File access error" makes me wonder if it's a question of permissions.

Please try to run CC3 Update 11 again, right-clicking the setup file and choosing "Run as Administrator" to execute it. Does that fix the missing buttons?
