Hi again,

Creativity is flowing at the moment, so now my second map for the week.

I have always enjoyed drawing city maps, but always had trouble with the surroundings, especially elevation. This solution was quite simple (DD3 symbol), but I actually think it works.

Drawn in Jon Robert City Style from the annual, with some smaller post editing (border, text, shield) done in PS.

Excellent stuff! Overall I like the colours in the second map a little better than the first, because it's not quite so dark, but of course it's missing the awesome map border and map insert of the first one!

Another beautiful map. And, yes, using the symbols from DD3 work nicely with that style! I agree with Ralf that the brighter colors are a little nicer, but I see how the darker colors work well with the map boarder, I think. Also, I really, really, like that inset map in the first version. And the city coat of arms.

Looks amazing. What fonts did you use? Are they freely available? I love the text in the title card. Great color choices all around, too!
