[CC3+] + [CD3] - Problem with new City Bitmap A (metric)

Hello!
Have a small problem with cc3+ and CD3. When I start a new map and choose "CD3 - Bitmap A (metric)" in the wizard, I get a map without any background or border.
You can in the wizard still select a background, but after pressing Finish, it wouldn't be taken over to the new map, the map stays simply plain white.
The other templates, including "CD - Bitmap A" (non-metric) and "CD - Bitmap B (metric)" are fine.

I do note, that after choosing (for instance) CD3 Bitmap B, I do see "CD3A_Field" as an option for the fill style of the map background, and it displays in the preview window.
One other template has a problem I noticed.
If you chose to pick a per-defined template CD3B 2000'x1600' City.FCT shows a white background with an X on it and if you load up the template it has buildings already on it.
This doesn't happen with the CC3 of CD3B 2000'x1600' City.FCT. I checked to see if CC3 also had this problem
Sorry for the late answer, but I've only time in the evening hours (cet timezone) for this.
To answer your question Ralf: Yes, if I copy your file over, it works fine.
If i was the only one with this, I would have assumed it's maybe only a download error, but I see, there are others.
So it's maybe only a little compression error (or alike) in the packed installfile.
EDIT: I also could confirm Jay_NOLA's issue. this template (CD3B 2000'x1600' City.FCT) has no real preview (I see a non filled green rectangle with one blue and one red diagonal) and if you select it, you get a map (with proper grass background) with already two buildings in it, zoomed in to the buildings.
Anyway, thx, for your help!
