Annuals vs CC3+

Hello, I've got both CC3 and CC3+ (and DD3) installed on my machine. I can't use symbols and textures from annuals (I've got the free ones and and vol 6-2012) I just installed. Sample maps show with red crosses everywhere. I can however use Symbol set 1. I am doing something wrong or should I just be patient and wait for CC3+ updates?

I forgot to mentions that these annual symbols and textures work perfectly fine on CC3; it's under CC3+ that the above-mentioned probles occur.

They still need to be updated to CC3+. Thy will be, but we will have to wait a bit.

Hah, perfect! Was looking for this topic.

And yes, that's what I think also, they still need to update it for cc3+ (on install it says, can't find a installed version of cc3).
Came only here, to verify it.

Can anyone confirm that CA54 is not CC3+ compatible yet?

I've been watching this great tutorial () and he's using CA54 doors and my doors using SS4 are way smaller than his. Couldn't get CA54 installed so I'm just trying to make sure I'm not doing something wrong or building for dwarves!

Only Annuals 99, 100, and 101 are compatible.

Do we have any updates on when the annuals will catch up? Not spending money on them if the don't work in CC3+.

2015 Annual was well worth the purchase I think. I really do hope the rest of them get updated, especially the 2011 one and the Symbol Sets though.

If the symbols are what you want, import them into CC3+. If you don't know how to do that, look it up in Remy Monsen's "Tome of Ultimate Mapping." If you don't have the Tome, by all means get it! Every CC3/CC3+ cartographer should have it.

Just my guess, but I believe that the remaining add-ons gets priority before annuals. I know SS3 is in the works, but Cosmographer and Character Artist is still awaiting conversion. This is part of the reason why CC3+ is still considered an early adopter product, for the full experience, cc3 is required.

Yeah, I too suspect the Symbol Sets and other add-ons come before the annuals. I'll just keep patiently waiting... waiting... Okay, not so patiently. ;-)
