Is it possible to trace exported features from FT3 in CC3/CC3+?
Hi all,
I just read the discussion here while trying to solve the issue it discusses:

The issue is that CC3 and CC3+ both crash when you try to fill vectors exported from FT3 with a terrain bitmap. There was no fix found in the article above, but I was thinking, is it possible to use the trace function on the vectors exported from FT3 and create a new landmass in CC3 that is identical by doing so? I've already tried this but the trace function seems to behave strangely. Does the community have any tips on how to go about this? I'd appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks in advance.

Am I able to save just my coastline as a bmp, or does it have to be topography/climate or something? All I want to have in CC3 is a black line outlining my coastlines, then fill them in manually.
On some of the FT3 output I wanted as an island, I just used a template the size of the island, even though the map in FT3 was for a planet.
You can also select 'determine settings myself' and type in the size you want for the final map as part of selecting the mapping style.
