Resize / Rescale

Is it possible to simply type in the new dimensions for a scale or resize of an object?
Example: I draw a 15x30 rectangle and I decide I really need it to be 3x that size. I select move/resize/rotate. Instead of using my mouse and the ctrl key to scale the object to its new dimensions can I instead use a keyboard command? If so what is the command?

Try this:
- Click the Scale button instead, or type SCA in the command line.
- Select the entity or entities you want to scale.
- Choose Do It from the pop-up menu.
- Choose a scale origin. This is the point around which CC3 will scale the entities. You can left-click a location with the mouse, right-click or press Enter to use the default (usually the last origin used), or type in coordinates and then press Enter.
- Type the scale you want to resize by. Numbers greater than 1 are larger. Numbers smaller than 1 are, well, smaller. You can use decimal values, such as 1.5 or .33, if desired.
