Sheets Disappear

I've noticed occasionally while working on a map, most of my sheets vanish! I've not been able to pin down exactly when or why it happens, but I'll open my sheet menu, and discover all but half a dozen or so have been removed. I know there is a 'remove unused sheets' option. I've never used it, and some of the sheets that vanish have objects and effects in them. The effects get lost, and the objects are moved to another sheet.

It seems to have something to do with the autosave function, but I'm not sure, as I don't really notice it right away, as there is no obvious change to the drawing until you click on the Sheets dialogue .

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?
All help would be appreciated.

A sheet has to have a small dot in it in one corner, under the map border, to stay there after you exit CC3.

Does it need that dot, or does it just need to have an entity of some sort, and that dot is just to keep a sheet if we don't use it for something right away? Ithril mentioned that some of the missing sheets had objects on them.

There just needs to be any object on the sheet, the point is just a convenient unobtrusive one we use. Sheets that have no entities on them don't get saved - something we want to change in CC3+.

Objects would not be moved on a different sheet on their own though - they probably got placed there by accident in the first place.

It would be most helpful if this undocumented feature were mentioned somewhere. I'll have to remember to start pipping my sheets when I begin a new drawing.
