CC3 Crashes
Well, it's been a couple of months since I've used CC3. I bought it for use as a Game Master in Pathfinder, but unexpectedly my group ended and I had little or nothing to use CC3 for. I also bought DD3 and CD3, as well as FT and Cosmographer. I have all of these installed.
My group has started back up again with a new map and characters, so naturally I figured I'd get some use out of these programs because I'd barely ever used them. (To be honest, they feel a little out-of-date, but I don't care. I wouldn't have bought them if I thought it would be a problem.) Well, I opened it up, and I noticed it was running really, really slow. Yes, my computer's a dinosaur, but surely it should at least be able to handle this program that looks almost as old as it is? Next, I went to create a new map. I figured, as a warm up, I'd just make the local tavern. Small map, just using DD3's stuff, can't be so difficult right? As soon as I hit 'finish', CC3 completely freaked out and crashed. Thinking this was probably due to how janky my computer is and the fact that I had a couple other programs over, I decided I'd shut everything down and open CC3 again. This time, before making a new map, I tried to put it to full screen (I have a large monitor, and I like setting things to full screen so that it kinda immerses me into the program) and it again crashed - but before it did, most of the buttons on the screen disappeared and a large amount of it went white. I figured maybe the program had difficulty going full screen, so after closing it I opened it again.
This time, the third time mind you, it almost seemed like it was going to work. I didn't go to full screen, and I took it slowly creating a new file (It was trying to display an old file from when I'd used it last) and I got through the menu - Only to find out it had the previous copy of this map saved, just a blank copy. I named it the same and had it overwrite those other ones. And it crashed again. If I can't create new maps anymore... that's going to really suck.
Going to mention that when I used it a few months ago it ran smoothly and perfectly.
Help me please? I have no idea what I'm supposed to do here. Is it my fault? my computer's fault? I really ought to get a new computer...

Steve
I am using Windows 7, so I don't think there's an issue there. My computer has something like 4 GB of RAM, so I don't think that's the issue either. I think I'll try reinstalling, I actually didn't think to do that. Thanks for your help!
