Kliene Berg City map CA85 style

I had a spare few minutes this morning and decided to play around with the WW2 area style in CA85.

This was just done off the top of my head with no real world reference so I'm sure there are a lot of things that don't quite make sense. But overall I like the style and how quickly a map in this style can come together. This was about 30 minutes of work.

Thoughts or feedback on what works or what should be updated?

I'm not sure what is going on with the scale bar. I used both the forest and the pine forest fills and I guess if I was going to mix them I need to be more careful with the borders or remove the outlines.
Any good ideas on what I can use for bridge and tunnel symbols on this thing?

So made some updates, fixed scale, added compass and labels and remove the woodland borders.
Also redid the train lines.

So any opinions?

Nice map.

What are the green-blue areas? Suggestion: you could perhaps blur the edges between green and green-blue...

Did you meant "Kleine" (small)? In that case I think the right ending is "Klein".

It is either a proper name or a misspelled. "Small"

The green and blue are the different forest fills in the style, the nourish one is pine forest.
A blur or edge fade might help.

If that''s what he meant, the right ending is "er" ... Kleiner Berg. On the other hand, if it's a proper name, the ending still would be "er," but as "Kliener Berg."

I received a couple of comments regarding the pixilation of the map, any good suggestions on how to improve that aspect?

To get rid of the pixelation, try exporting the image with a higher anti-alias setting, that generally improves things. From your image, it looks like you don't have anti-alias enabled at all on your export.

I've popped the roads and railways to the top layer, adjusted the forests so there are no forests in the urban areas.

Monsen you were right I didn't have the anti-alias turned on and I think that helped out a lot.
