scale symbols to a set size like 5'x10'?
Hi all,
I see that you can scale things but they are in %(1.0 to 1.1 is 10%) but i want to know if you can somehow specify the dimensions in feet for x and y instead. Here's the issue - the symbols in CA63 Jon Roberts are nice but not right at a 5' grid battlemap scale. The catle/city walls are not an exact 5' multiple in either x nor y dimensions. They look odd unless I re-scale them. I am doing that with the regular tool but it there was a way to redefine a symbols scale to exact size in feet for a battlemap where I am using a 5' grid that would be better. Is this possible or is there some other way if you can specify x,y in feel rather than the default %?
Thanks in advance for your help!

You need to specify a scale value of 5/ with begin the width of a symbol you want to occupy a 5' width.
To get the actual width of a symbol, use Info->Distance and select the endpoints of the symbol.
For example, if you get a width of 4.72875 you need a scale of 5/4.72875
You can type a fraction as a value in CC3, so when the Scale command asks for a value, just type 5/4.72875.
Now if you use the symbol scale (right-click after selecting the symbol) you need to calculate the value first, you cannot specify a fraction there.
Does it help ?
