1930's city map - China Town

I haven't had a ton of free time lately to do any mapping but I saw a sample map for China Town made in 1905 and so I've been copying the map and learning the style.
This is what it looks like so far, with a lot more work to go. The labels are all over the place and need to be coordinated and I've still got a couple of blocks to draw but it is a neat looking maze of buildings.
So looking for some suggestions and thoughts on how I can improve it.
Thanks,
Ken

But I would echo JDR's question about the street size (i.e. Pacific St., Broadway, etc)
I've updated the maps and added a legend and cleaned up a few things. The streets are not to scale as this purpose of the map is to show the level of vice, and not navigation.
I think it would be a good map for a detectives or police game where the GM wanted to give the players some level of general knowledge of the area but until they get into the winding streets and buildings they wouldn't really know where anything was at.
Please let me know if you have any ideas on how I could make the map better.
Thanks,
Ken
Edit - Updated the blur effect.
