Outdated contact procedures
I could really use a hand here. I own CC3, DD3, CD Pro, and Fractal Terrains. When attempting to install DD3, I get the error message about .net. I followed the instructions and installed .net 4.5. DD3 Apparently doesn't recognize it. I went to the website for advice. It says all I have to do is go to my registration page and download the version that does not require .net. In order to do that I have to use my email and password from when I bought the program. I no longer have access to that email. So I tried the contact us option. It tries to force me to use windows live email (which does not work on my machine). Anybody have any ideas?

That's bizarre. When I go to the Contact Us page, I see a bunch of e-mail links. Clicking them opens the default e-mail client on my computer (Outlook 2003) and creates a new message with the linked e-mail address in the To field and a pre-generated subject in the Subject field. Something wonky must be going on.
I'm just a customer and not a PF employee but, for what it's worth, here is a list of the e-mail links I just now copied from the Contact Us page. You can copy and paste one (or more, I suppose) into a fresh e-mail message that you create manually (as opposed to clicking an e-mail link). The subjects in parentheses are what the links automatically put into e-mail messages when you click. I don't know if you need to use them but I included them here in case you want to. Hope that helps,

Use one of the emails Dogtag listed above to contact PF, they will help you sort out the registration email issue.
One comment about .net however. The .net versions are separate, so having the newest one is not enough. You will need to have the correct one (one can install multiple .net versions side by side). Microsoft made them this way instead of having to deal with backwards compatibility. The appropriate version in this case is .net 1.1 SP1. However, the best route is to get hold of the updated DD3 installer, this avoids all of these .net issues.
