Using Mappa Harnic Tools after saving in CC3

I am creating a map in CC2 using the Mappa Harnic Tools. I needed to erase an object that was mistakenly created well off the viewing area, but could not find it with the "Erase" tool in CC2. I opened the map in CC3, used the "Erase" tool to erase the object and saved the map. I re-opened it in CC2, but now the special fill tools do not work, for instance the "Vegtable Plot" fill.

Please tell me I do not have to start over. Is there a way to re-activate the special tools?
