Could use some help

I have only really used CC3 (with all the add-ons) to create battle maps. I am in need of a semi-desert, rocky land map that has a plateau in the middle of it. Would anyone be willing to create the start of the map and post the FCW here? I can add in the details but I am having a hard time getting background desert part to look right. I wish I had more time to experiment with it but it would save me a lot of time if I had something to start with. This will be used for a Dark Heresy game I am running on Roll20.net and the players are on this desert like planet. I want to show them a map of where their base is in comparison to this plateau. The plateau is about 10 km from the base.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I own all the add-on's and Annuals so pick whatever style you like.

What about doing a hand drawn map on parchment style? Would tbat work for the size of the map and featuress you are looking for? Think Indiana jones 3 and the map with no names.

Also anomiecominie (sorry about the spelling) has some awesome desert maps on the forum that might help for inspiration.
