Crash when I zoom one section of map
I've been updating an old map to use newer symbols. And now I'm encountering an interesting crash.
If I zoom in one section of my map - I doubt it makes much difference, but it happens to be the middle area of the left hand side of the map - CC3 seizes up. It doesn't seem to matter if I zoom in on it directly using the 'Zoom Window' command, or if I zoom in on another section of the map and then try and move towards the problem area, once I get there, the mapping window goes white and the whole of CC3 hangs. Or alteratively it doesn't zoom and just hangs with the spinning mouse cursor that shows Windows is waiting. I can work on other areas of the map, as long as I keep away from that one particular area. Eventually I get an FCW32 is not responding error.
Any ideas? This map is for a scenario I'm putting together for publication and I really do not want to have to scratch all the work I've already done.

Further investigation makes me think the problem is with some polygons I've used to indicate different heights of land in the fashion of a contour map. Each polygon has a PNG file tiled as background. Does this help anyone to work out what might be going on and how I can fix it?
Thanks for your time.
Otherwise, it might also be helpful to contact ProFantasy Technical Support directly.
I have just contacted support to see what they know.
However, even using the zoom tools has become problematic in a map i'm working on now where I have TONS of sheets, effects, and objects. Even when the sheet effects are off and many of the objects are hidden it still crashes.
In sum, I suspect that the crashing has more to do with the limited power of my computer compared to the work i'm asking CC3 to do...since upgrading my machine at the moment is not an option, I need to just have more patience, save ALOT, and hide as many objects as I can while working.
