Erwin Raisz Landform Maps

Shortly after Christmas I broke down and ordered a set large prints from the Erwin Raisz Landform Maps website, both for use in my current game, as well as for inspiration. They arrived today and they are absolutely, mind-blowingly beautiful. Look at this:


I so much want to create a version of my Jhendor world map in the overland style from the Annual Vol 4 that is inspired by Raisz work. But despite CC3's shortcuts, it would still be a major undertaking!

Whoa...that's great. I've actually been eye-balling either the landform or black & white overland to use for a map for my soon to start colonial America era game set in the southern colonies. This may push me to try out the landform map.

Looking forward to the Jhendor stuff too.

Do a little bit at a time. Eventually you'll get done. I'm sure I don't need to tell you to create your own templates and symbol set combos to help it go faster.
