CA Pro install

I'm in need of whipping up some quick character portraits and remembered CA Pro came with the original bundle I purchased, though I never installed it.

Today I tried, and it seems to require CC2, though I have no interest in installing that since I have CC3. Also, I'd long since already installed CD3, DD3 and SS 1+2 into CC3.

The Installation guide seems to say that installing older add-ons should have been done before installing the newer. =[

What is the recommended course of action here?

Make sure to install the CA Pro compatibility update (downloadable from your registration page or original order page), and do not use the original CA Pro installer at all. The Compatibility update is the complete install for using it with CC3.
After installing the compatibility update, reinstall the latest CC3 update.
