Thanks. The effect was a filter from an App called Flare for the Mac.

I usually don't like the black and white maps, but, yours is very well done. I especially like the mountains in the north. very nice concave effect. I also might use your foresting style in future maps, I always seem to create unbelievably huge forests instead of small groves here and there.
