Question on FT3 Overlays

Since messing about with FT3 I was wondering if it is possible to make a hex overlay to make my mapping a little easier. I plan on exporting the FT3 file to CC3 and using a hex like in the old days of D&D maps. Is there a way to do this?

I don't know of any way to add a hex grid to a FT3 map (other than having an image of a he grid and importing it as an image overly)

However, if you are importing into CC3, I would think it better to add the grid in CC3 in any case.

FT doesn't provide a hex grid because a hex grid can't tile perfectly on a sphere. Hex grids are most commonly used as an overlay on a final, projection flat map. As Monsen suggests, this sort of thing is best done after an export to CC3.
