Hi guys,

First of all - hello.

I just got back from vacation in Florida about a week ago - I got down there just in time to catch Tropical Storm Debbie. It was an experience, - interesting vacation.
ANYWAY - after we got back my Mother had a mild stroke - and is in the hospital at this time. I will probably be away from being active on the forums for a while, so keep my chair warm for me.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother Bill. Take good care of her. I'm in a similar situation right now with my mother-in-law so understand just how hectic things are with an ill parent.

Don't forget to take care of yourself too.

I wish you all the best too Gerri. I went through similar last summer when my mother had terminal cancer, so I know how tough (yet at the same time rewarding) it can be to take care of a sick parent.

I share your worries, friends. My mother in law went to the hospital, *for 3 days", they said. It was 4 weeks ago and still no word of going home...
