Here's another shot - what would "you" call this thing? Lol :)

(P.S. ... I think that this is getting to be a habit, lol :) )
  • I'd go with "Gothic Birthday Cake"... 'cause if it was 1468 and I just turned 15 I'd want a cake decorated with this lettering :) In a completely serious tone, what about: Imperial Privateer? To me, its got a 17th century pirate/naval feel to it.

Looking great. I really love this recent font-kick of yours. I do like that second name suggestion in your example text :)

Actually "Imperial Privateer" is interesting, but "Gothic Birthday Cake" is even better! Lol

Well thank you Remy, but you must admit that even though I'm prone to fly off on creative tangents from time to time - at least I'm careful enough to make sure that my madness here benefits everybody in some way, lol :)

Hmmm - it's a toss up now between "Horny Unicorn", and "Gothic Birthday Cake", two great ideas - I'm torn, lol :)

Yep - well hey, I found the answer to the Mad Hatter's riddle didn't I?

"How is a Raven like a writing desk?" - Answer: They both have quills, yuck yuck yuck ;)

    How about: Scriptorium?
Please make sure it has Edth, & Thorn as characters!

That is a beautiful name Sven, but unfortunately the Scriptorium is an actual font company - and the name is trademarked, so I can't use it, but it was a good idea though.
Also "Eth" and "Thorn" shall most definitely be in there. All of the fonts that I have already submitted here have those, although the map is basic Unicode 1.0, so you may have to use multiple keys to access it if you are using a standard english keyboard plan. Check your character map when you get the font after it's finished.

Also - are you guys in the E.U. / U.K. using Unicode 1.0, or 2.0? Anybody can use 1.0 - it's a basic standard - so you can use my fonts - no worries, just wondering about it.
  • Ok - almost done with it - here's a screenshot:
  • I like jonasgreenfeather's suggestions. Either one will do for me.
  • I'm leaning towards "Gothic Birthday Cake". "Horny Unicorn" is cute - but it's really not appropriate for general "All Ages" audiences, even if it is a double entendre, lol.

That's too bad - here are some other possibilities: Refectory, or perhaps Carthusian (an Order of Monks known for their manuscripts)

Carthusian- I like it! how about Lando Carthusian, well,... maybe not such a good Idea. Lucasarts seems like the type of place where lawyers would have no senses of humor.

Well dear friends - good news and bad news - bad news first:

The font has already been named,

GOOD NEWS: It has been named "GOTHIC BIRTHDAY CAKE", lol, and IT IS READY!!!! I am starting a new thread and posting it, I am relagating it to the Profantasy Map and Catalogue library, and it's also being uploaded over at my free font page at Abstract fonts, which will function as my personal fonts archive so that these fonts will be GIVEN IMMORTALITY - MWA HA HA HA HAaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgha!!! :)

@Sven: Sven - I am however reserving "Refectory" and "Carthusian" for future fonts, as they are awsomely tastey font names - and shall not go to waste! Lol.
  • Imperial Privateer is a no go ? Oh well.
  • I'll just call it "Bruce" to avoid confusion.
  • Hmmmmm.....Bruce?......Not Bad, I'll use it later on another font, lol.
