Hi all,

Is it better to start maps without the coast outlines, and then add the outline when finished? I made 5 land masses, used the coast outline thing on all of them. From reading on this forum about using fractalise tool on the coastline, I did that but the coast and the outline were out of sync.

How do I remove a coast outline after the fact? And how would I remove the outline from all the pre existing land masses?

To delete only the outline, you can usually get it by selecting by color. The outline is usually black, so selecting by color 0 (black) will usually give you just the outline and not the landmass when erasing.

If you don't know how to select by color, read the chapter on Editing in the manual, it explains all the details about selecting by various properties.
