exporting FT3 files

I created a world in FT3 and wanted to export it to CC3 for more work. I chose the option "Save Campaign Cartographer File". It saved as a CC2 file. Is this correct? (I was hoping to skip the extra step of loading the file into CC3 and having to convert the map from CC2 to CC3.)

The fcw extension is used for both CC2 and CC3 files. If you check the export settings that you used (on the Campaign Cartographer Export window, select the Export Settings item that you used) you can determine if the output format is for "Campaign Cartographer 3" or Campaign Cartographer 3 (no sheets)". The default "Campaign Cartographer 3" setting should include sheets for all of the basic element on the "Other Items" page in the wizard.
