FT3 Flat World Raise/Lower Issues
Hi all, just bought FT3 a few days ago and decided to try and recreate some drawings I'd done on paper years ago, but I've already hit a snag.
When I start raising land from the sea with with a brush, lots of isolated pixels appear all around the edge of any landmasses. When I attempt to erase them, it simply 'rubber-bands' land around where I attempt to erase. I even get this outline of land even when painting a lower operation in the center of the ocean (see attachment).
I've tried raising and lowering bias, un/checking soft edge, and other settings, and nothing helps. Any idea what's going on here?

http://www.ridgenet.net/~jslayton/CGTutorial/index.html has a description of a technique that gets fairly good results by painting a map. Note that these days I would probably use the textured climate shader rather than the image climate shader.
